Service Advisory for EZ Call Customers

Please take note that EZ Call will begin to strictly enforce ACL rules starting on 13 November 2009.  In order to avoid any service interruption, please take a moment to be aware of the following:

1.   We will authorize all host authenticated calls based on the source IP address of your gateway or proxy. 2.   If you are situated behind NAT, or if you are using a proxy to route calls to our network (i.e. the source of your calls is not the same as the host you registered with us when you signed-up for service), you must use a SIP username and password for authentication.  The SIP username and password are the same as the username and password used to login to the Customer Console.
3.   All calls must be sent to our ingress proxy – sip:sbc.ezcallinc.com – in order to take advantage of our load balancing and redundancy features.    If you are not able to use a SIP domain for routing, you may send calls to the IP address of our ingress proxy – 70.42.72.49 – but please be aware that load balancing and certain redundancy features will not be available.

In case of any questions, or if you encounter problems on the effective date of this notice, please contact our 24×7 tech support team by email to support@ezcallinc.com.

Thank You
